Course Rationale: Motivation is a critical aspect at a workplace which leads to the performance of the department and even the company. These skills or strategies elicit a desired behavior or response from a stake holder and they vary based on the motivators style and the target audience.
Target Group. Coordinators, Managers and Directors in Public and private sectors.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Be able to know and identify what motivates staff
- Know how people’s needs differ and how to motivate individually
- Recognize the importance of a motivated staff

- History of motivation
- Motivation starts with determining individual needs.
- Maslow’s hierarchy of needs
- Herzberg two factor theory
